FAQ

CAN THIS REPLACE MY CURRENT SCHEDULING APP?

No, we're not trying to replace your current booking app; in fact, we encourage you to keep it because once we get you all those new clients, they will need a way to book future appointments with you.

We're like Uber for barbers; you can accept the appointments you are available for and decline those you're not. Once you cut your new client's hair, transition them to your current booking app.

DOES HAIRCUT NOW CHARGE A MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION FEE?

No, we don't charge a monthly subscription fee, but we charge $10 for each appointment you accept. Since we require clients to deposit $10 to hold their appointment, we retain the $10 as payment for our services.

CAN I UPSELL MY CLIENTS ONCE THEY ARRIVE?

You can upsell your client for additional services, but you can't charge more than the agreed-upon cost of the original service. Also, per our terms of service agreement, you must credit the client for the deposit paid to Haircut now.

DO I NEED TO CONFIRM MY APPOINTMENTS?

No, since our appointments are scheduled within two hours of the client's request, there's no need to confirm.

HOW CAN I COMMUNICATE WITH MY CLIENTS BEFORE THEY ARRIVE?

Once a client has booked their appointment, you will be able to chat with them from within the app.

HOW LONG DO CLIENTS HAVE TO CANCEL AN APPOINTMENT?

Clients must cancel within one hour of their appointment.

HOW WILL HAIRCUT NOW KNOW THAT I HAVE TIME AVAILABLE FOR A WALK-IN?

You can set your availability within the app, and it will sync with the google calendar on your phone, so when there's an available time slot, we can help you fill it. Also, you may receive requests during times when you're busy, but you have the option to decline them.

CAN I CANCEL AN APPOINTMENT AFTER I ACCEPT IT.

Yes, because we understand that things do come up, we take our client's time just as seriously as we take yours, so please do your best to honor appointments after you have accepted them.

CAN YOU PROVIDE AN EXAMPLE OF HOW THE PAYMENT WORKS?

Sure, a client agrees to an appointment with a $40 cost for the haircut. The client pays us a $10 deposit to book the appointment; once the client arrives at the shop, they pay the barber or stylist $30 for the service and then take the information needed to book future appointments. We keep the $10 deposit for our referral fee, and the barber or stylist keeps the $30.
